So what really is in design?

It's the essence of your business, the dogma that you preach, the benefit that you offer. All of these seemingly metaphorical statements are meant to be translated in a meaningful, informative and inspirational way, not only once, but in a consistent way across all mediums if impact is to be created.

How can you establish a sound platform for design materials within your business?
Start with the basics.
What inspired you in the first place to start a business?
What sort of effect did you believe you would have in your client's life with your services or products?
What are the many benefits that your business, service or product offers?
Who would be interested in these benefits?
How can you present your offer in a unique way?, your own way?

Once you have answered these questions authentically you can start to build on the concept that will infuse the presentation of your business with a certain character, you establish a tone of communication that will resonate with those who at the core share your own views and have a great chance of becoming  brand loyals.

When creating a brand for a business or individual, there are many things to consider as the brand grows or your market expands, but a solid base is always a great starting point. All businesses, products and services inherently have within them these basic starting points, at Flock Studios we have some fun coaxing them out, organizing them and translating them into images and messages for web and print.
